One of the most used bridges, this type of bridge uses both adjacent teeth to place the prosthetic teeth held in place by crowns.

These bridges use a metal framework that is attached to either one or both adjacent healthy teeth.

Using just one healthy adjacent tooth, cantilever bridges are a great option when only one healthy tooth is available for support and/or on teeth towards the front of the mouth.

Why do I need a bridge?

Most bridges can be placed over two appointments, with a few weeks’ wait in between while your personal bridge/prosthetic is made for you.

What is the treatment process like?

At your first appointment, we’ll prepare the adjacent anchor teeth or tooth.
We’ll take a digital scan of the mouth.
The dental laboratory will make your personal bridge using these scans.
Our team will fit your personal bridge here.
You’ll leave the practice with a brand-new, happy, healthy smile.

I had a broken molar tooth extracted in August. Tamara was extremely good. I was worried that the tooth would break during the process and result in some uncomfortable 'digging around' to get it all out. Everyone is so kind, courteous and considerate. They listen to your preferences, and explain everything to you. The receptionist is also very reassuring and very helpful. I see the hygenist regularly and again she is very gentle and listens to my requests and questions. I am a very nervous patient, and I need to trust staff before I can feel confident and at ease. The atmosphere here is very positive, with laughter being heard from the treatment rooms, and people coming out looking comfortable, and possibly relieved as well!I would recommend this practice to anyone, particularly if you are nervous or have a dental phobia.

Hello, I visited Salisbury Cathedral Dental practice for root canal work , Not having this type of work done before i was a bit concerned on how this treatment was going to be performed, When I got to the practice I was greeted with a polite and friendly atmosphere this put me at ease, The dental practitioner told me all about the procedure he was good , I made a appointment to have the work done, Next visit greeted the same way the practitioner got to work, The team there are so good, As the work was going on I didn’t feel a thing, when it was finished I felt fine , They phoned me next day to ask if I was ok and to say any problems please call us ,All I can say is that the team are very caring and very good at there job, If any one is thinking about this type of work I very much highly recommend the Salisbury Cathedral dental practice. I've had a number of complex procedures undertaken at the Cathedral Close Dental Practice and have been extremely impressed by the high level of service. There's certainly no rushing to get the job done. It's all very friendly and relaxed. Sue is extremely caring in her approach and provides a high level of detail to allow the patient to make an informed choice about their own treatment. It's a bonus that the setting is lovely, just off the side of the Cathedral Green. In as much as going to the dentist can be pleasurable, they make it so!
