Endodontics refers to the tooth’s interior and the treatment given to these areas when they become infected or inflamed.

The most commonly performed endodontic treatment is the root canal treatment, which treats and removes infection at the tooth’s root, repairing and restoring full function to the natural tooth. In some cases, however, patients may have to receive more complex endodontic treatments to ensure the health of their teeth and the long-term well-being of their overall oral health.

At The Cathedral Close Dental Practice, our highly skilled and qualified team can perform several endodontic treatments for which, otherwise, patients might have to be referred out of practice. These include apicectomies, re-root canal treatments, and retrograde root fill, all of which require a great deal of training and skill on the dentist’s part.
